Our Church Leaders

George & Carolyn Kelly

Pastors

Pastors George and Carolyn Kelly came to the Atlanta Vineyard Church in 2015 after serving for many years in ministry at various churches in various capacities. The two have been married since 1996 and are equal partners in life, family, relationships, and ministry.

George was previously Pastor and Minister of Christian Education for many years at Bethel Family Church (now called Bethel Family Christian Church). Carolyn has ministered faithfully and fruitfully to children and youth of all ages for more than 40 years; she is singularly gifted in the area of Childrens’ ministry.

They both became part of the Atlanta Vineyard Church council in 2016. Within a few months of their new leadership roles, George was officially recognized and set forth as a Pastor in the Vineyard Association of Churches.

In August of 2019, George was installed as the Lead Pastor of the Atlanta Vineyard Church. The Kelly’s see their roles as helping to prepare the next generation of leaders to assume their roles as Servant-Leaders within Christ’s Kingdom.

George and Carolyn are blessed to be the parents of two adult children: Briana and Stephen. The Kelly’s enjoy joyously celebrating life with family, friends, and with all of those that they are fortunate to meet.

Our Ministry Leaders

Lon & Melanie Taylor

Church council

Lon and Melanie have been a part of the Atlanta Vineyard family for over 10 years. They both work outside of the home and have two school-aged daughters. Their kids look forward to church because of the fun and fellowship they have, but Lon and Melanie are happy that their kids are getting a Christ-focused foundation, including learning how to read the Bible, be the light of the world, and recognize the voice of God.

They serve on the church council and also love hosting a small group at their home. They love beach trips, sightseeing, and local family adventures, but are also new to trying out the practice of downtime!

Pamela Hutchinson
